He loves you more than anyone ever could.

Ever feel like something is missing?

We believe the answer is Jesus! The Bible portrays a story where a good shepherd leaves 99 safe and healthy sheep to find one who is lost. Jesus is that Good Shepherd, and He came to earth over 2,000 years ago to do just that. He is, along with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, God Himself. We were created by Him, and He wants a relationship with us. However, our sin has separated us from God. The Father sent Jesus, the Son, to become one of us… fully God and fully human. We celebrate this at Christmas. This is a mystery, and yet, it was the only way for our salvation to be secured. Jesus lived a perfect life, taught us how to live, fulfilled prophecy, and suffered a cruel death on a cross. When He did this, He paid for our sin once and for all. And on the third day of being in the grave, He rose again miraculously in an event we call the Resurrection! We celebrate this at Easter.

In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus tells us, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” This is the Bible passage behind the name of The Narrow Way Church.

Jesus explains His role in guiding us toward this way of living clearly in John 14:6 where He says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” Jesus is the only way to be saved and avoid our punishment for sin… eternal separation from God.

1 John 1:8-9 and Romans 10:9-11 give us the Biblical way to make this a reality in your life.

”If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

(1 John 1:8-9, emphasis added)

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be disgraced.’”

(Romans 10:9-11, emphasis added)

If you confess your sin to God, declare that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead… YOU WILL BE SAVED! It’s simple and yet the most powerful and important decision you’ll ever make!

In a simple act of faith, you can pray to make this decision right now. You can tell Him these very things in your own words, or if you’re struggling, you can pray like this:

Dear Jesus, I know that I have sinned against You. I confess my sin to You now and ask for your forgiveness. I want to turn from that life. I declare that You are Lord, and I believe that You were raised from the dead. I receive your gift of salvation now. Make me into a new creation, wash me clean, and help me to follow you all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If you made that decision, you have become a Christian and you are saved! We couldn’t be happier for you! You are now part of the global family of God and heaven awaits you when you leave this world. Here are some practical tips to help you in your newly-found journey with Jesus.

Be Baptized. Baptism is a public profession of faith commanded by Jesus.

Read the Bible daily. God’s Word gives us the wisdom and instruction we need to live on the narrow way that Jesus calls us to.

Pray daily. Talking to God is how we continue to confess our sin to Him, lift Him up, thank Him, and bring our needs before Him.

Find a church that follows the Bible and keeps Jesus in the center. You’re more than welcome to join us, but more importantly, we pray you find a church like this somewhere.

More about who Jesus is…

Colossians 1:15-23 (emphasis added) says:

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He
existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
for
through Him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through Him and for Him.
He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.
Christ is also the
head of the church, which is His body.
He is the
beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So He is
first in everything.
For God in
all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ,
and through Him God
reconciled everything to Himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of
Christ’s blood on the cross.

This includes you who were once far away from God.
You were his enemies, separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions.
Yet now He has
reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body.
As a result,
He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.

But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it.
Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News.
The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.”
